Trifloxystrobin
Trifloxystrobin is a broad-spectrum foliar fungicide that inhibits fungal spore germination and in doing so, protects the plant.
Trifloxystrobin works by affecting respiration in plant pathogenic fungi, taking away the pathogenâs ability to use energy.
Trifloxystrobin sticks extremely well to the leaf surface, and can withstand heavy rainfall without being washed off. Combined with a gradual penetration into the leaf, it remains effective for a long time.
The fungi can become resistant to trifloxystrobin so a product containing the fungicide should not be used more than twice a year.
Trifloxystrobin may be used to control turf fungal infections such as:
- Red Thread
- Brown Patch
- Fusarium Patch
- Dollar Spot
- Rust
- Anthracnose
