Rainbird 1812-SAM-PRS30: Pop-up spray head complete with Seal-a-matic non-return check valve. This pops up 12″ (300mm) above its body when water pressure is applied.
The SAM seal-a-matic check valve prevents water from leaving the sprinkler once the system has been turned off. In many instances, without this feature, water can continue to dribble from the sprinkler, causing unsightly and annoying wet areas around the sprinkler. The seal-a-matic mechanism shuts the sprinkler down tight when it is turned off, preventing this from occurring.
The PRS30 feature is an inbuilt pressure regulator which will regulate the outlet pressure to no greater than 30psi; 2.1 bar. Use this model in association with any Rainbird spray nozzle (VAN, HE-VAN, MPR, or U-Series).
