Description
Nematrident C how to guide click here gives full instructions on how to apply and store the live nematodes.
Nematodes will be dispatched using 24 hour carriers in insulated containers to keep the temperature below 10 c during transport. Once received nematodes should be stored at 5-8 C at this temperature they have 6 – 10 week shelf life.
To get best results apply when soil is moist (35% WV%) and above 12 C for at least 3-6 hours per day.
Nematodes should be applied with at least 500-1000 litres of water per hectare. Combining nematodes with Nemaspreader® will help the nematodes to disperse and move through the thatch layer and effectively penetrate the soil to search for and kill the chafer grubs feeding on the root systems.

Nemaspreader is a specially selected wetting agent which has minimal effect on the viability of the live nematodes. Trials at Swansea University have shown conclusive evidence that 80% of the commercially available wetting agents have a dramatic negative impact on the live nematodes which would reduce the viability of this treatment. If you intend to use other wetting agents make sure these have been tested for toxicity to nematodes.
