Valve Boxes allow us to install irrigation components under the soil surface and still be able to get to them. There are several sizes of valve box to suit what you intend to conceal. For a simple tap in a garden the 7″ round box should suffice. For a mainline valve on a commercial system a 10″ round box will be needed, and to conceal and protect solenoid valves in golf courses and sports pitches a 12″ rectangular box or larger is generally used.
Quick coupling valves act like taps which can be installed inside valve boxes, so you will have access to water beside your green or at the corner of your cricket wicket for example.
