Qualgex is a surface biocide for professional use and is fully HSE registered. Qualgex can be used to treat algae, moss and lichen on external hard surfaces including artificial sports surfaces, patios, tarmac, headstones and concrete paths.

Qualgex is for use on hard surfaces such as concrete, paving, tarmac and bricks to treat algae, moss and lichen. It is not suitable for the control of moss on grass and turf - for this purpose please see our moss control on turf product range.

Active ingredients

Contains 9.9% w/w dialkyldimethyl ammonium chloride + citric acid + penetrant. HSE 7716

Application Rate

Apply at 1 litre/100m² Qualgex in 20litres/100m² of water.

Qualgex can be used at any time of year to a wide variety of external hard surfaces. It can be applied by brush, mop or surface spray and is ideally used when the algae/moss/lichen is actively growing and conditions are moist.

It is essential surfaces to be cleaned are thoroughly wetted with the product. With many of the cushion mosses a second treatment may be necessary. Read product label before use.
