Yellow suckling clover (Trifolium dubium)

Yellow suckling clover

An annual herb, yellow suckling clover flowers from May to October. It can cover large areas with just a single root, spreading quickly, and creeping close to the ground. The flowers are quite small and are yellow at first, turning brown later in the season. Flowers are self-pollinated. Yellow suckling clover thrives on nutrient deficient soils and ones which are non-acidic, though it can grow in most types. It is a member of the pea family and has been used to stop cuts bleeding.

Treatment

Yellow suckling clover may be removed by hand, ensuring all the roots are dug up.  Crossbar and  Greenor will control yellow suckling clover .
