History

Formed in 1919, and headquartered in Bolton, England, the Company launched its first turf fertilizer products in the 1930’s and since then has developed the most comprehensive range of products available for professional groundsmen, greenkeepers and landscapers. Products are sold mainly under the Company’s Mascot label throughout Europe and turnover is over £20 million per annum.

Product development is at the forefront of the Company’s philosophy. Working with a number of key research based specialist suppliers, and dedicated to a policy of Continuous Improvement in all its activities, Rigby Taylor has introduced many new products to help UK greenkeepers and groundsmen maintain and enhance their world-wide reputation for excellence in their profession.

Sales Offices are maintained in Bolton, Guildford and Edinburgh with fast and efficient distribution being carried out from some 70,000 square feet of warehousing.
