Rigby Taylor Qualifier Results
The Rigby Taylor Qualifier at Neath Golf Club, on June 16, was once again a success and an enjoyable time was had by all.
The four teams to qualify for the finals day, in September, are:
- Darryl Jones (Glyn-neath GC) & Steve Chappell (Neath GC)
- Andy Roach (Haverfordwest GC) & Huw Morgan (Ashburnham GC)
- Paul Handy & Mark Anderton (Newport GC)
- Peter Holmstrom (Countrywide) & Clive Moran (Cerleon GC)
The Nearest the Pin prizes went to Mark Anderton, of Newprt GC, and Jamie Smith, of Green Meadow GC. Longest drive went to Stuart Ross of Breacon GC.
Peter Griffiths, of Rigby Taylor, was on hand to do the presentations on the day and thanked all involved in arranging what was an excellent day enjoyed by the 16 teams that took part. Peter especially thanked the committee of Neath Golf Club for the use of the golf course for the event and Judith and her team for providing the excellent food after the golf.
