Rigby Taylor Credited in Golf Club Newsletter
Wynyard Golf Club’s newsletter, ‘Afternoon Tee’, mentioned Rigby Taylor as a partner in improving their Wellington Course through a long-term fertilizer programme.
Highlighting the strong relationship, Head Groundsman, Derek Thompson, wrote: "We are now in the third year of a specific fertilizer programme designed to improve the overall quality of the Wellington Course with particular emphasis being placed on the greens and fairways.
"Together with Rigby Taylor, supplier of turf maintenance, fertilizer and grass seed products, we are committed to improving the course in order to maintain the high quality of play as well as our reputation as one of the best courses in the region."
Other improvements emphasised by Derek in the newsletter included the building of nine new bunkers so far this year, new machinery and new drainage installed over the winter months.
Wynyard Golf Club is in the North East of England, just south-west of Hartlepool.
The Wellington Course, set in 200-acres of mature parkland, has been played by greats such as Seve Ballesteros, Colin Montgomerie, Padraig Harrington and Justin Rose.
